West Turkestan, c. 280 x 202 cm, second half of the 19th century, these carpets are sometimes still sold under the name Bokhara, early central carpet of the Tekke tribes with 5 x 12 Tekke guls as primary motif and interesting elem design, heavily used with visible signs of wear, on the lower left corner a sewn vertical tear, reduced all around, stained.
