The present composition is based on a painting by Francesco Solimena for the church of Donnalbina in Naples (today in the Museum S. Lorenzo Maggiore, Naples). We are grateful to Dr. Emilio Negro for suggesting the attribution to Francesco Solimena (Canal di Serino 1657 - Barra 1747).
