A rectangular iron mechanism, weight driven over cord, with verge escapement, short front pendulum, 1-day functioning, striking the quarter hours on a bell atop, with wrought iron steel hands with brass tips, a floral polychrome painted and pierced iron dial, a two-door iron casing, 39 cm. Austria, probably wohl oberösterreichische Eisenstraße. Some ageing and wear, without guarantee for precision or duration of functioning, with 6 wrought iron weights. (HP)
