Signed A. Dulac, depicting "Dona Sol" 1881, Cast bronze of a courtesan with ruff and feathered hat, the plinth inscribed Dona Sol, with signature A. Dulac verso, height 68 cm, very good condition. (DOC) Literature.: Thieme-Becker, Allgemeines Lexikon der bildenden Künstler von der Antike bis zur Gegenwart, VEB E. A. Seemann Verlag Leipzig. Adolphe Edouard Dulac was a sculptor in Paris and pupil of Levasseur. In 1877 he exhibited a portrait medallion in gesso and in 1879 a marble bust entitled "Dona Sol" (Bronze, 1881).
