“A work of art is to be considered as such if it heightens our vitality, filtering the brutality, pain, and sadness of the world, and becomes song and praise.
Colours are king for me, they dictate their own laws of harmony, and I am but the executor of a higher plan. I feel myself to be an instrument of a commitment to grow harmony in the world, and thus increase life.
Art brings man closer to God. When I speak of harmony, I am alluding to that which envelops the universe. We must embrace it, and testify to it through painting, bring it back to Earth and make it incarnate in our work.”
