Produced by Gebrüder Knake in Münster, ca.1860/70. 7 octaves, with a rosewood veneered case, set on turned baluster legs with casters, richly decorated with floral and geometric ornament in brass, also with substitute lapis lazuli and with ivory keys. Length ca. 235 cm. Restored around 20 years ago, with some recent ageing and wear, and without guarantee for tone. (DOC)
