A veduta: “Das Innere der Halle des Collegiums der Kirche Christi zu Oxford” (The interior of the college hall of Christ Church in Oxford), titled, gouache on greenish primed paper, dimensions of sheet 22 x 36 cm, mounted, unframed, (Hu)

According to tradition, painted by a member of the Upper Styrian artist family Tendler, which shaped the cultural life of the Eisenerz / Leoben region over several generations. Mathias (born 1753) founded the “Tendlersche Automatentheater”, Johann Patriz (born 1777) produced peep-pictures, whose motives were connected with the chamber painter Archduke Johanns and Johann Max (born 1811) studied under Josef Führich at the Vienna Art Academy and was a church painter active.
