A diamond temple brooch no. 3105 by Cartier
platinum 950, white gold 750, brilliants and baguette-cut diamonds total weight c. 2.80 ct, 11.2 g. Cartier’s temple brooches were first introduced in 1925 on the occasion of the exhibition “Internationale des Arts Décorativs et Industriels Modernes”. The models are characterised by their strict geometric forms. The baguette cut, first introduced for diamonds by Cartier in 1920, complements this design. The present brooch is signed on the base.
