Small oval table,
Known as a table a écrire, 19th century. A modified Transition style in the manner of TOPINO. A hardwood table veneered and decorated in partly dyed fine woods such as satinwood, mahogany and rosewood with vases of flowers and jugs. The table has a pull-out writing surface with leather lining, a lateral drawer with ink well (incomplete), a marble top with bronze rail and a lower compartment with similar marquetry. Ca. 75 x 54 x 42 cm, In cared-for condition. (DOC)
