The Scheibe-Alsbach Manufactory, founded 1836, gained an international reputation for the quality of its figural porcelain, and received numerous awards between ca. 1870-1914. Louis XVI., (Versailles 23.8.1754-21.1.1793 Paris), executed, King 1774-1792. Marie Antoinette, (Vienna 2.11.1755-16.10.1793 Paris), Queen, daughter of Maria Theresia, since 1770, married to the future King Louis XVI.
