first half of the 20th century, manufactured by Friedrich Otto Schmidt (attributed), wood frame construction, stained to simulate mahogany and then lacquered, with turned legs and spindle back, height c. 72 cm, width c. 48 cm, depth c. 48 cm, height of seat c. 40 cm. (MHA)
Adolf Loos used very similar models for several interiors.
The F. O. Schmidt company modified this chair model for its clients.
