A Dutch early Baroque cabinet,
first quarter of the 18th century, demountable hardwood frame on baluster-shaped feet, domed moulded cornice, rosewood veneered and ebonised, with polished finish, rounded columns with matching bandings - the latter must be pushed to the right to gain access to the key hole; atop the columns and bandings are carved capitals in the form of female heads, lion’s head decor in the cornice, 2 doors with flame mouldings and ornamentally carved fruit, panels on the sides, c. 206 x 185 x 78 cm, in restored condition.
