Provenance Archduchess Marie Valerie of Austria and heirs, gold 585, silver c. 800, 6 Oriental pearls partly baroque shape, diameter c. 7.5-12.2 mm, old-cut brilliants and diamonds, diamond rhombs total weight c. 18 ct, some movable elements, detachable pin, workmanship c. 1890, executed by A. E. Köchert, 41.9 g, in fitted case, Royal & Imperial Court and Chamber Jewellers, A. E. Köchert, Neuer Markt 15, Vienna, material composition report of NHM Vienna from 2019 enclosed. X-ray fluorescence analysis has shown that all 6 pearls are salt water pearls.
