so-called plinth chest (‘Sockeltruhe’), 18th century, Swiss pine frame with carved applications and ‘cushion’ corner ornament typical of this region, blue primed and painted with floral motifs in the form of leaves and blossoms, the front structured in 2 panels with contour strips, marked on the base and dated 1728, lateral iron handles, lock, key, enclosing a fitted interior with a total of 7 drawers and 1 shelf, 90 x 153 x 64 cm, signs of age and use, beautiful patina.
