France, c. 1790, oak structures with mahogany veneer, sides with serpentine shaping, each front with 1 door and 1 drawer, turned feet and decorative columns, lavishly gilt decorative mounts, marble top with openwork edging, one with old cracking, stamped on the underside of the drawer: F. I. PAPST, (François Ignace Papst - master as of 1785), 97.5 x 81 x 33 cm, signs of age and use, doors with slight cracks. (MIN)
