Excellent example of a Committee Land Grant, 8vo. 1 page, June 18, 1717, in old English, whereby the parcel is "... laid out to Eboner Barker, ten acres and a half - and three, rods of land, lying between Doon Hill ... and the Shine River, bounded on the Northwest corner of Swamp Oak ...". A true attest copy signed by Committee Members: Steven Osgood, Ephram Foster, and Joseph Burney as surveyor (zit. nach rückseitig montierter Expertise).
