"Zeichnungen - Egon Schiele 1917", portfolio with 11 (of 12) collotypes after drawings by the artist, signed and dated Egon Schiele 1917 in the justification page, no. 365 from the edition of 400 numbered impressions, sheets with typeset inscription on the reverse Blatt [sheet] I-XII (sheet IV missing), different sizes between 44.2 x 30.8 cm and 49.2 x 32.5 cm, in original half-linen folder with title sheet, index with justification page and text sheet, printed by Max Jaffé/Vienna, published by Buchhandlung Richard Lányi/Vienna, sheets slightly browned and with slight signs of use, portfolio with bumped edges and visible traces of use, (11), (EW)
This is the only series with reproductions that was produced during Egon Schiele’s lifetime and under his supervision.
