A superb portrait miniature of Empress Elisabeth Christine (1691-1750) with her two daughters. A portrait miniature of Emperor Charles VI, attributed to Josef Anton Fischer, is preserved in the Presidential Chancellery of the Vienna Hofburg.

Provenance:
Personal gift from Empress Elisabeth Christine to her lady-in-waiting, Countess Maria Josepha Czernin (1690-1726), a daughter of the Imperial Court Councillor Count Thomas Zachäus Czernin. Countess Maria Josepha Czernin married Count Leopold Joseph Künigl zu Ehrenburg (1688-1727) in the Vienna Hofburg parish on 18 August 1712.
