c. 1900, mahogany and mahogany veneered hardwood frame modelled on the French Empire, tetragonal frame with conical forms on bronze feet in the shape of stylised lion paws, manchettes resting on gilt bronze heads, arched backrest, frieze and legs applied with elaborate enamel plaques, gilt bronze mounts and bronze finial in the form of a laurel wreath, upholstery of a later date, width c. 145 cm, seat width c. 130 cm, backrest height c. 103 cm, seat height c. 48/49 cm, well-kept condition.
