Giovanni Minelli was born in Bergamo on 15 December 1976. He studied industrial design at the Milan Academy of Fine Arts. Exploring the common denominators of art and industrial design, he initially conceived unique objects and installations for exhibitions of contemporary art. Together with other Italian designers, he was invited to take part in the project “Italian Design for Unicef”, which was launched on the occasion of the reopening of the design and art museum for La Triennale di Milano in 2016. In his works, he combines his artistic origins with expertise acquired in the field of industrial design and the latest findings in technology and research.
