SORMANI (1817–1877), second third of the 19th century, mahogany and rosewood veneered hardwood frame with canted angles on conical tetragonal feet, one top drawer in the form of 3 sham drawers and elaborate bronze doré fittings, 2 large drawers and bent sides with floral marquetry in so-called ‘sans traverse’ execution, moulded marble top, c. 93 x 138 x 57 cm, in restored condition.
