(1864 - 1949), autograph music manuscript "Waldseligkeit", op. 49/1, no place, no date (1900/01), 2 pages, black ink, clear fair copy, piano and soprano part, autograph text underlay, slightly stained, two tears repaired with adhesive tape, cloth binding, mid-20th century, title label, dedication by Franz Strauss on flyleaf, 26 x 34 cm.
The song "Waldseligkeit" with a text by Richard Dehmel (1863 - 1920), op. 49 (no. 1 of Acht Lieder, 1901) was last interpreted by Edita Gruberová on her Japan tour in 2018 (NBS Diary 2010 - 2020, after Dec. 2020 cf. cat. no. 67).

Dr. Franz Strauss, gift to the Swiss musicologist Dr. Willi Schuh (1900 - 1986) on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Richard Strauss on 11 June 1964 (see dedication on endpaper), Edita Gruberová.
