A Nuremberg insert weight set of 8 Viennese pounds
18th century, brass, elaborately marked side, master’s mark “seahorse with BB” (Lockner p. 279f.), also calibrated with the Styrian panther, the Austrian shield with MT (Maria Theresia) and the year (1)749 and 1845 and "S S" (Steyr Stadt), 1 original insert of 2 pounds with various calibration marks. Height with handle in vertical position c. 16 cm.
