part of a calibration table delivered in 1760 for an Austrian crown land (L), brass, cylindrical form with stepped base and flaring top rim, beautifully engraved: “FRANCISCI ET M: THERESIAE / AUGUSTORUM PROVIDENTIA ET AUTHORITATE / RESTITUTA MENSURA VIENNENSIS /QUARTA PARTIS MENSURAE / LIQUIDORUM / VULGO SEITL / MDCCLVI” and signed “Curante P. Ios. Franz SI” calibration stamp Austrian double eagle and dating (1)787 and (1)835. Height c. 16.3 cm.
