A Viennese Mark weight box from 1771
Vienna, calibrated with the Austrian double eagle, the dates 771, 773, 777, 780, 782, 785, 791, 803, 828, 839, 844, 856, brass, round, conical shape with spherical handles (most of them can be unscrewed), weights of 8 Mark, 4 Mark, 2 Mark, 1 Mark, 8 Loth, 4 Loth, 2 Loth, 1 Loth, 1/8 Lb, 1/4 LM(?), 1/2 D, 1 G (from 1890) and 1 r, also 1/2 r and twice 1/4 r (three rectangular weights and wooden slipcase). In original wooden case with domed cover. Size c. 25.4 x 14.7 x 12 cm.
