Ducat or gold scales by Johann Gargula
Vienna 1857/58, with 8 brass weights and three plates, the weights mostly monogrammed "JG" on the bottom, 32 D, 16 D, 8 D, 4 D, 2 D, 1 D, 172 D, 1/4 D, calibrated with the Austrian double eagle, the year 857/858 and WIEN, the iron scales also monogrammed and calibrated, brass bowls. Original deerskin-lined and gold-embossed leather-covered fitted case with brass hooks, embossed double eagle and signature "Gargula / in Wien." Size c. 20 x 11.2 x 3 cm.
