A Rare Museum-Quality Plinth Chest (“Sockeltruhe”) from Tyrol,
Ötztal dated 1642, waxed Swiss pine frame with linear front division into 5 panels - of which 2 large ones painted with infinity knots, base with cut-outs on the sides and painted sun wheels on the left and right, hinged cover with inner compartment and balustrade, c. 90 x 157 x 66 cm, lock not functioning, nevertheless with key, in well-maintained condition.
