800 silver, interior partly gilt; oval shape, the long sides with one handle each; slightly bulging rectangular and diamond-shaped decoration, the upper section with pearl bands; above and in the centre, respectively, above and under the diamond decoration, openwork floral motifs; slightly flared smooth foot, the exterior with fluted band border; subsequently engraved on the foot; marked on the underside with crescent, crown, 800, factory mark Bruckmann and vendor’s stamp Cl. Dahmen, no. 11036; signs of age and use; clear glass liner with star cut base; the upper section chipped; total height: 15.1 cm, length 49 cm, width 23.2 cm; weight of the silver centrepiece: 1,110.1 g.
