A high wood centrepiece with two seated putti and rose decoration, with a sterling silver liner, Germany, c. 1930
carved, brown glazed wood with delicate mother-of-pearl inlays on the foot and upper section with interlocking lines; one insert missing at top; feet in the form of four flaring wooden claws: an enclosed round liner made of sterling silver with hammered decoration; slightly flared opening rim; the upper section marked Frölich, 925, crescent and crown; signs of age; professionally restored; total height: 37.4 cm, diameter: 33.3 cm.
