Provincial French longcase clock,
Known as a Comtoise or Burgundy clock, 3rd quarter of the 19th century, inscribed on the dial "BRUNET a Tarascon". Striking the hour on bell, with anchor escapement, weight driven, with an enamelled dial for hours, minutes and date, and with a chased bezel, made in brass with a grained and painted spruce case.
Height 240 cm. 1 pendulum, 2 weights. Some ageing and wear, parts replaced, without guarantee for functioning. (HP)
