A silver centrepiece with cone decor and a glass liner with cut floral decor, probably Samuel Haber, Vienna, c. 1900/15
800 silver; bowl made of cut clear glass with ‘bleeding heart’ blooming branches and animated edge; glass bowl with very slight chipping and light scratches to the opening rim; bowl resting on four narrow columns; round, stepped base plate with raised cones; the latter marked on the rim: Diana’s head mark (mis-struck), master’s mark S. H.; along the upper margin: greyhound hallmark; silver finial marked in the upper section: greyhound hallmark, master’s mark S. H.; signs of age and use; height 20 cm, diameter 26.8 cm. (SH)
