For the famous tale of the revenge of Diana, the goddess of the hunt, Oscar Larsen chose a sharply diagonal composition that dynamically conveys the movement of the enraged huntresses. Actaeon, the hunted, is already depicted in the lower corner transformed into a stag, about to be torn apart by his own hounds.
