“In my case, however, it is not about manipulating the object in terms of its content,
as a bearer of meaning (as DADA did), but rather in a purely aesthetic sense.
What always interests me above all is the possibility of using any
visual element–whatever it may be–to elicit emotion. A pictorial solution and an
object-based one are on the same level; they can complement and reinforce one another”.
