(MP) Provenance: Austrian private ownership; Sale Dorotheum, 12.11.2003; Private Collection Graz. Literature: Kirchenführer St. Jakob in Thal, 1997. The chair was designed for the Church of St Jacob in Thal near Graz. Ernst Fuchs redesigned the church between 1992 and 1994. The interior was furnished with 163 chairs. The chair offered here is a unique piece that was not intended for use in the church.
