- designed by Mark Groendal from Grand Rapids, Michigan
- came about by accident in 1985 when Groendal as teenager broke the down tube on his mini-motorcycle
- playing around he invented one top tube attached to a fibre-glass bridge
- and one adjustable steel cable with a spring
- frame components are reinforced to avoid buckling
- frame has been repainted
