Es wurden nur wenige dieser Sofas hergestellt und diese in unterschiedlichen Farben: das schwarze für die MTV-idents, das rote und graue für die "bug"-Präsentationsstände.
Craig Morrison's initial work as a concept designer for the British underground group Meat Beat Manifesto ("Babylon", founded in 1988, prompted him to develop the qualities of his latex costumes into a commercial range of products. MTV commissioned him to design seven idents for there European programming. The costumes and sets that he produced for this commission were a ne departu4re for MTV, moving away from there usual animated slots. The idents took four weeks to produce, each one lasting approximately 30 seconds.
