The Old Masters autumn auction on 22 October 2024 awaits you with numerous exceptional works of art by artists such as Giulio Pippi, called Giulio Romano, Thomas Patch, Peter Paul Rubens, Dirck van Baburen, Martin van Meytens, Rosalba Carriera and many more.

Among the highlights of the Old Masters auction is a diptych by Pietro di Cristoforo Vannucci (1450-1523), called il Perugino. The work depicts Christ crowned with thorns and the Virgin dates back to Perugino’s Venetian period during the 1490s.
Also deserving of great attention is Artemisia Gentileschi’s (1593-1654) Madonna and Child painting dated to circa 1609-1610 when Gentileschi was around 16 or 17 years old. It is one of her first works and a testimony to her precocious talent as a young artist.
