Sculpture
The auction selection in the sculpture section features major works ranging from carved wood, carved stone or terracotta from the Gothic period and the Renaissance to Baroque and Classicism, from Italy, Austria and Southern Germany as well as Flemish sculptures.
Especially popular motifs are religious images, including angels, putti and the Madonna and Child. The selection offers museum-quality, antique sculptures by famous sculptors and carvers such as the Master of Großlobming, Tilman Riemenschneider, Hans Klocker, Multscher, Hans Spindler, Johann Meinrad Guggenbichler, Johann Baptist Straub, Ignaz Günther, Ferdinand Tietz and Josef Anton Feuchtmayer, the sculptor families Zürn and Schwanthaler and Italian masters like Antonio Rossellino, Andrea Riccio and Giovanni della Robbia.
