This geometric and lyrical work, entitled Los Alamos, from the Positivo Negativo series created in 1958, is one of Bruno Munari’s most characteristic and emblematic works.
Composed of six small transparent and screen-printed sheets which can be freely overlapped according to the personal taste of each viewer. Straight and parallel coloured lines interweave and work in perfect harmony with the light’s varying intensity. A game that was inspired in part by the historical American laboratory at Los Alamos, where the first nuclear tests were conducted.
