1953 Fiat 500C "Topolino" Belvedere

1953 Fiat 500C "Topolino" Belvedere - CLASSIC CARS and Automobilia

When the Fiat 500 first came out in 1936, Dante Giacosa had picked a design that was pure genius in every way. After the war, this design went back into production and continued to be developed. From 1951, Fiat offered this clever combination, under the name “Belvedere” in an all-steel construction. The Topolino was Italy’s contribution to mass mobility and was manufactured under license in Germany by NSU.

The present Belvedere was imported to Britain from Sorrento by a previous owner and acquired there by the consigner. The condition of this handy small Italian is beyond the shadow of suspicion. Everything is how it should be or even better! Wherever you look it becomes obvious how much love, and probably just as much money, have been invested into it. It even comes with such rare details as the original Fiat emblem or the log book. In December 2012, it even appeared in a feature article in the renowned Classic Cars magazine!
With its wide-open top and the huge boot with folding back seat it makes an ideal city car in summer. It will capture hearts wherever it goes - even at the Mille Miglia, should one be bold enough to put in an appearance there!
