- the Mistral Ultima was the top-end version of the Mistral series by the Austrian manufacturer Puch
- made from a Reynolds 531 tubes
- its Campagnolo-Super-Record components being the very finest available at the time
- this version had Cinelli rawhide saddles and handlebars wrapped in the same leather
- a VIP ensemble that was a signature of the most expensive type of bicycles
- a Puch professional team compete under various names until its demise in 1985
- in 1987 Puchs bicycle branch was sold to Piaggio, later to Monark, then to Cyclesport
- today Puch bicycles are back in Austria under Faber
