- this Rochet Super Special once owned by an amateur racer
- brazed from high-grade Reynolds 531 tubes
- the fork lugs and dropouts are chromium plated
- fitted with a steel Simplex derailleur Juy 51
- a second gearshift cable screwed to the end of the first to overcome the spring pressure of the derailleur cage allowing limited slack in the chain
- the cranks "double-clanger" is operated directly by a lever clamped low down on the seat tube
- the time a well competitive bike in amateur races
