South Caucasus, c. 67 x 78 cm, second half of the 19th century, part of a former double bag in soumak and brocading technique, since these tribes of Turkish origin lead a nomadic existence also in Anatolia the exact origin of weaves such as the present one cannot be determined, back part missing, despite this a beautiful collector’s piece.
