Paris around 1910, black silk with gold thread pattern woven in, apricot colour flowers woven into black ground, black and apricot colour silk fringes (length 45 cm), 110 x 110 cm, good used condition, (HS)
The shawl was a present by Prague writer Olga Vitkova to her daughter-in-law EllabrbrElla Vitkova worked a.o. in Prague and Kolin as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. She was educated among other places at the Hellerau-Laxenburg school by Rosalia Chladek. She established her own dance schools in the 1930s in Prague, Kolin and Podeprady.
