Note:
In the 1950s, Egidio Costantini (1912–2007) created works on glass based on designs that had been entrusted to him by such contemporary artists as Picasso, Arp, Chagall, and Fontana. Picasso’s versatility as a glass designer and Costantini’s control of the furnace resulted in the realisation of a superb series of sculptures.
