A rare “Miros Due” vase, designed by Miroslav Hrstka - Design

for Venini, Murano, 1968, green “sommerso” glass with delicately engraved lines in the ”velato” technique, paper label: MUSEO VENINI/HAND-MADE IN ITALY – Murano, height 31 cm. (DRAX)

Around 1967/68, Hrstka designed a small series of sculptural objects for Venini, which was only realised in a limited edition. Most of the objects remained with the Venini Museum, whose collection has been dispersed in recent years.
