The great sophistication of Nok and Katsina terracotta remains as unknown tradition. It is likely to be a predecessor of the grand Ife period. This masterful relic is one of the great examples of an isolated period in the history of prehistoric Art. Between 500 BC and 500 AD. 46 cm high. Terra cotta.
