Provincial Late Baroque cabinet on chest,
Northern Germany circa 1760/70. Made in pine and oak and partly veneered in walnut, with marquetry ornament in fine woods and fruitwoods such as plum and lilac (?). The cabinet is divisible by means an arrangement of metal hooks. The serpentine lower section has three drawers, with a central lock over the middle drawer; the upper section has two doors and a broken pediment. Approx. 188 x 143 x 65 cm. In need of restoration, some losses. (PZ)
