The Criminal Code, approved in 1768 by the Roman Empress and the Czech Queen Marie Theresa (1717-1780) for all the hereditary countries. It was not so modern, since it adopted some medieval punishments such as torture and punishments for witchcraft, etc. The printed version of the code was published one year after its approval, both in Czech and in German. The law is accompanied by attractive appendices.

the original leather ribbed binding is slightly frayed, it is a complete specimen including all appendices, which is rare, the content part is in excellent condition
