A modified Louis XVI style from the end of the 19th century, modelled after the work of the French master cabinet maker Adam Weisweiler (1746 - 1820). A mahogany-veneered hardwood two-part vitrine, with fluted columns at the angles, concave sides, lavish bronze doré mounts, the lower section painted with Vernis Martin, the upper section glazed on 3 sides with 1 door, 2 glass shelves and a brass rail. Approx. 202 x 101 x 45 cm. In very cared-for condition. (DOC)
